The Los Medanos Community Healthcare District (LMCHD) is receiving applications for a part-time Administrative Assistant. Experience for this position includes the following:
Must have the ability to effectively communicate with all visitors, guests and co-workers. The successful applicant must be reliable and dependable, a self starter, and possess four to six years of work experience in a fast-paced environment. The ability to work as a team member and assist in all aspects of office administration is essential.
Other skills required for this position include the following:
MS Office, Outlook, interpersonal communication skills, grammar, spelling, organization skills, basic bookkeeping and math, event planning and creative publishing skills, knowledge of computers, copiers, and various other office machines. Spanish bilingual language skills is desirable.
Minimum skills and educational requirements for this position are as follows:
Demonstrated minimum typing ability of 55 WPM. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and other graphics skills. Minimum education: high school diploma and the equivalent of two years of an accredited college. Applicable work experience may be partially substituted for educational requirement.
California Driver’s License
The deadline to receive applications is June 1, 2017. Applications will be screened and qualified applicants will be invited for an interview. Certification of typing at the rate of 55 wpm is required upon the scheduled interview date.
